Greetings, Phantom Phans! I know it's been awhile since I've posted an author update on the website. Needless to say, I'm on top of it again! Just wanted to share a few updates. I've been working on the second Phantom Features Mini, which is an up and coming book series for young readers. Get ready to be scared silly of what truly lurks on our ocean floors. The first Phantom Feautres Mini will be out soon!
For all you Young Adult readers, I'm working on my next novel for you, as well! This novel will not only terrify you as to what could become of our world as we know it, but it also speaks a powerful message about the anti-abortion movement and conservationalism. This one has been a thrill to write so far, and I look forward to sharing more of it with you as I continue progressing through the story.
Readers might be familiar with my signature graphite illustrations. Although I do enjoy making them, I find that color captivates the eye in an entirely different light. This has led me to start experimenting with the dreaded Procreate. It definitely is taking some getting used to. Here are some of the procreate drawings related to some upcoming books. I'm not sure if I'll be using these images in the books or not. There is still a lot of tweaks I want to fine-tune in my procreate drawings.
What do you all think? Should I start trying my hand at the color illustrations rather than black and gray? I'd love to hear some of your feedback!
